CorvAircraft> mixture problem

Mark,
My main concern is that I'm fairly certain I read one of WW's
posts where he recommended running at full rich all the time,
which probably would work for an Aircamper, but the fact you had
an over-rich condition on takeoff worries me. You've noticed that
leaning the mixture levels out the EGT's...was your #2
consistently lower than the others or was it random? Does this
indicate a somewhat uneven fuel vapor distribution?
Yes I would appreciate some of your EIS data, if you could email
to jjr48 at slb.com.
I just get kind of nervous when one of the Corvair standard-
bearers like you, Mark Jones, et al, have engine problems. Sure
is a strong argument for an EIS...
Thanks,
John Franklin
