'Vair Net,

This week I'm taking my crankshaft in to be magnafluxed, and the 
machinist says that countersinking the oil journals will improve 
crank lubrication by 20-30%.  This seems reasonable since I would 
think that's about the same increase in the circular area of the 
openings.

I was wondering if it is necessary to use the high volume oil pump 
to take advantage of this modification or will the standard oil 
system suffice?
