CorvAircraft> hand prop and need for electrics

Do you fly in crowded airspace?  Does your airport have a busy 
traffic pattern?  Do you plan to make a lot of cross country 
flights?  Will you need to fly into controlled fields?  Class B or 
Class C airspace?

Williams manual originally leaned toward no-electrical system, and I 
would say it encouraged people to omit starters and generators to 
gain back horsepower and weight.  I inferred from the writing that it 
was quite feasible with the Corvair.  You might call the hangar and 
talk to him about it.
