Hi David
My intension with this setup was not for the clutch to act as a tortional
damper but to isolate the crank from the thrust and gyroscopic loads imposed
by the prop as this is what is reported to be the root cause of the cranks
failing. Any damping that is gained from the clutch damper springs is a
bonus. As far as I know there aren't any tortional problems with the
crank???
