The # 1605 is also on a cam's box being sold on ebay within 5 hours.
Item number: 320201344959 It was a perfect circle reverse cam converted
to reverse rotation by KEP. "perfect circle part number 229-1605." I
wrote the seller he had no more info. I spoke to the folks @ KEP & they
looked through their files but could not find the references. Perfect
Circle is no longer. My best guess is that it would be another perfect
circle brand of cam with a different profile. You may find info in an
older reference book though a former dealer/parts house. If no other
info is available you can still determine lift & timing without removing
the heads by using a dial gauge at the valves & Mark Langford's handy
degree template. Better still find a dyno like WW's & test for torque
values at your expected rpm.

> Hello, This may be an impossible question, I have an engine here that I bought from an estate, that was supposedly converted for aircraft use. The cam itself is stamped on the end with 1605 and 252-26 The cam gear says GM 6255610 they both look new Can anyone tell me anything that might help me figure out what kind of cam it is? thanks Gary Richmond
