 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MEMBERSHIP!! 
 All November and December renewals should have been received by now. PLEASE REMEMBER ---- Make sure you send in your renewals before 12/31/06!! This is VERY IMPORTANT to ensure that we have an accurate account of members-in-good-standing and to be sure ALL members are accounted for in our year end report to PHIP. Only members paid through 12/31 will be included in our total. Thank you! 
 
 2006 Order of the Sleepless Knights 
 We had about 45 people who made it to all 4 Jimmy Buffett Pre-Concert Parties who were inducted into our “2006 Order of the Sleepless Knights!” Congratulations to JudyJudy who won the drawing for the free concert tiks (for the next Tampa concert). Also, if you made it in this group and haven't had your picture made yet, please see Heidi at the meeting.

 OK Parrot Heads, what better way to ease those shopping blues than to finish it all at the next meeting? You can get everything you need for all your friends and family right in our Fins to the Left Store. Purses, beach bags, socks, lanyards, aprons, Happy Sharks, hats, visors, parrot earrings, can and bottle coozies with the requisite shark bottle opener, flower leis, the Tropical Soup CD w/14 different Trop Rock artists on it, kids shirts as well as men's and women's tanks, tees and sweatshirts. And don't forget the Happy Shark Christmas Ornaments...these will be on sale for $2 each while supplies last.

 PRE-SUPERBOWL BEACH CLEANUP & PARTY
 MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!! There will be a Pre-Super Bowl Beach Cleanup & PARTY on Saturday February 3, 2007. The Cleanup will be on the Courtney Campbell Causeway - the place we lovingly call Parrot Head Island. We will meet before the Cleanup for Team assignments at 9:00 a.m. and start the Cleanup about 9:30. The meeting place will be in the parking lot at Whiskey Joe's - off Rocky Point Road (south) at the east end of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. There will be signup sheets at our normal Parrot Head flockings. If you can't make it to the "meetings" to sign up, please contact David, Our Chief Officer of Community Events, by e-mail at dolphin96 at verizon.net or call 727-734-8263. Kelley our stupendous party planner will have the news about where the post-Cleanup PARTY will be. Stay tuned for further details!!! 
 
 The Chief Officer of Community Events and the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club would like to thank all of the Parrot Heads and family members and friends of Parrot Heads who volunteered to participate in the 2006 Cleanups. It was hard work (July for sure) but we had plenty of fun along the way too. The after Cleanup parties were great - thanks Kelley! WaZoo and Zoofari came off without a hitch - another satisfied "customer." The last Cleanup for 2006 was the Davis Islands Cleanup - part of the Mayor's Beautification Program - The Hillsborough River and Waterways Cleanup. A special thanks to the hardy souls who came out the Saturday after the Buffett concert for the Davis Islands Cleanup. They truly are members of the Order of the Sleepless Knights!
 
 2007 Tampa Bay PHC CRUISE!!!!!!!!!
 Make no mistaica - we're going to Jamaica! Cruise with the Tampa Bay Parrot Heads April 28, 2007 on Carnival's Imagination. The ship leaves for a 5-night cruise from the Port of Miami on Saturday, April 28th and returns on Thursday, May 3rd. The first stop is Grand Cayman, the second stop is Ocho Rios Jamaica (yes, there is a Margaritaville there!). The cost of the cruise including port charges and tax is $449.11 for an inside cabin and $509.11 for an outside cabin. A $200 deposit per person is due as soon as possible. For those who have already made a $50 deposit, please call the reservation agent and make your second payment of $150 as soon as possible -- due by the end of December. The balance is due by February 25th. 
 
 GOOD NEWS!! The cruise has been so popular we have decided to add more cabins. So, if you are interested in joining, please call and sign up right away!! All deposits and money paid is fully refundable up to 2/25. Call For Cruise Reservations at 813-854-5522 or 727-784-2110 to make your reservations. Transportation to Miami is being planned at a separate cost. The cruise is filling up fast so don't miss out -- CALL NOW!
