It was great to be back to the meeting last night and see everyone again.  That sure was a big crowd right after a 4 day weekend. NICE!  This weekend we have our second clean up of the year for Parrot Head Island.  It is time to get out and live by our motto – “LET’S LEAVE THE WORLD A LITTLE BETTER THAN WE FOUND IT . . . AND HAVE A BLAST DOIN IT!”

“Hello Tampa Bay Parrot Heads.  We have over 100 volunteers for Saturday's Cleanup already to help out.  The Cleanups we do after the 4th of July Holiday are historically the ones with the most trash.  Lots of holiday partying going on.  I am making another request for volunteers to lend a hand on Saturday.  If you can make it, please come and bring any family or friends who might like to help Cleeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaan the Beaches.  As always, we will meet in the parking lot of Whiskey Joe's off Rocky Point Road on the east end of the Courtney Campbell Causeway at 9:30 A.M.  Bring gloves, wear good shoes and a hat as I am sure it will be a hot one.  If you need any additional information please contact me at dolphin96 at verizon.net or call 727-543-6548.
 
We will have our “After Clean-Up” Party at the Banana Boat on Gandy just past the Dog Track.  Everyone who comes to the clean up will get a free lunch.
