MEETING TONIGHT!   Below some info about a cool project taking place for our troops overseas.  If you can  bring some items to this meeting or the next one, we would appreciate it.  
 
Also, the number we had posted in the last e-mail for getting reservations at the Marriott for the Bar Stroll at Channelside was incorrect.  Here is the correct one  - 813-221-4900 or 1-800-228-9290.
 
Finally, here is some info from Kelley about a bus trip we are going to do next year :
 
Make no mistaica - we're going to Jamaica!  Cruise with the Tampa Bay Parrot Heads April 28, 2007 on Carnival's Imagination.  The cruise leaves the Port of Miami on Saturday, April 28th and returns on Thursday, May 3rd.  The first stop is Grand Cayman, the second stop is Ocho Rios Jamaica (yes, there is a Margaritaville there!).  The cost of the cruise including port charges and tax is $449.11 for an inside cabin and $509.11 for an outside cabin.  A $50 deposit per person is due as soon as possible, a payment of $150 is due in December and the balance is due by February 25th.  All deposits and money paid is fully refundable up to 2/25. Calling All Parrot Head Clubs: 

Can you help send a bit of Margaritaville to our troops serving in Iraq?

Event: 2006 Anaconda BuffettFest. 25,000 US troops currently call the Anaconda Logistical Support Area in Balad, Iraq "home" and PHINdy Club member John Jackson (who works for the troops in MWR -- morale, welfare, recreation) is planning a BuffettFest of games, music, food, and fun to help the troops find a bit of Margaritaville in the Iraqi desert...if only for a while. 

Date: The Anaconda BuffettFest will be the big Labor Day Weekend event for the troops...September 3rd, starting at 5 O'Clock Somewhere....

How to help: An estimated 3,000-6,000 soldiers will attend BuffettFest at the Anaconda pool 

We need your help to make this a success!! The wish list includes:
Tropical Shirts, Piñatas, Palm Trees, Leis, Beads, t-shirts, Postcards/notecards with personalized messages, Posters, banners...anything tropical, Inflatables of any sort (for pool races, etc.), Disposable cameras, Hats, Decorations, Music CDs,
Prizes for king and queen, Non-melting candy, gum, Club banners with logos, signed/w messages, Table favors
T-shirts from various PH clubs (S - XL) 10 per club (PHIP has approved club shirts being given to the soldiers) Buffett, Corona, tropical etc. 
And whatever other creative and fun stuff people come up with...to make it fun, colorful, tropical, etc.
Thanks for your enthusiasm and for supporting our troops.
