Hellooooooooooooooooooo Tampa Bay Parrot Heads!
First of all what a FANTASTIC Clean-Up we had last weekend (really the
weekend before last). We had one of the largest participation in years
and the party at Quaker Steak & Lube was awesome! Thanks to everyone
who volunteered to make that happen. Keep telling your friends how much
you got out of
cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnning
the beaches!!!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!
Annual TBPH Club Pig Roast!
Yes, it's that time again -- time to party at the Annual TBPH Club Pig
Roast to be held at Kahuna's Bar & Grill on Saturday, May 20, 2006.
Great music & fun all day long! Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at
the door. Tickets will be available at the meetings starting April 3rd
and are always available at Kahuna's if you can't make it to a meeting.
We need volunteers to work the door at the Pig Roast -- 1-2 hour shifts
taking tickets, applying arm bands and taking money for tickets
purchased at the door. Anyone interested in volunteering for the Pig
Roast please sign up at the Network table or email Kelley at
kelypsoul at yahoo.com. Please put "TBPH Pig Roast Volunteer" in the
subject line.

Meeting of the Minds
Though it's still eight months away, Meeting of the Minds is filling up
fast and it is limited to 3,500 Parrot Heads. Don't forget to register
for this incredible National Parrot Head Event in Key West November 2nd
- 5th, 2006. You must be a Parrot Head Club "member in good standing"
(dues paid) in order to attend so if your renewal is due, be sure to
send in your dues or visit the Membership Table at the next meeting.
Note from Diane, our Chief Officer of Membership: We have already
received our first request for confirmation of club members who have
registered for MOTM. Just a reminder that only members in good standing
(your dues are paid!) will be confirmed. For more information on MOTM
and to get registered, please visit the Parrot Heads in Paradise web
site at www.phip.com.
Of course, don't forget our next Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club Meeting is
scheduled for this Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at Storman's. See you all
there!
For more details on these and other upcoming events, please visit our
web site at www.finsup.com.
That’s it for now. Until next time . . .
