5th WEDNESDAY IN MAY -- Special Meeting TONIGHT -- Don't Miss It!!
Don't miss the special 5th Wednesday in May meeting TONIGHT, May 31st.  Wear your favorite tropical attire and hats, and enjoy the music of Steel of the Night.  Let's have some fun and celebrate our new members from our membership drive at the Hard Rock and the beginning of summer.  Are you our best limbo contestant?  Prove it!

Don't forget to pick up your May-June calendar at the Welcome Table so you can keep on top of all the wonderful events planned for the club. 

Palm Harbor Street Party 
Once again we will be co-sponsoring the Palm Harbor Parrot Head Street Party on Saturday, June 10th on Main Street in Palm Harbor.   This is a real fun event we have been involved with for many years.  Music will be by the Caribbean Chillers who always put on a great show.  Party starts at noon. 

Beach Clean-up & PARTY!!!
The next beach clean-up and party is scheduled for Saturday, July 8th.  Mark your calendars now!  More details to come. 

BASEBALL - Tampa Bay PHC night at the Devil Rays 
The Devil Rays Parrot Head night has been set for Saturday, July 22nd.  Mark your calendars now.  Tickets will be sold at the meetings.  More details to come. 

Pirate Cruise Phlocking 
Ahoy there!  The Parrot Heads of Central Florida have invited us to join them on Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise on Sunday, July 30th on the 2 p.m. sailing.  They will be meeting at Crabby Bill's at noon for lunch, then living the pirate's life at 2.  The cost of the cruise is $30 and includes beer, wine and soft drinks.  If you would like join the Parrot Heads on this "sure-to-be-fun" event, registration is easy!  Just go online to www.captainmemo.com and register right there -- be sure to enter "The Parrot Heads of Central Florida" in the comments section.

Meeting of the Minds 
Don't forget to register for Meeting of the Minds -- it's filling up fast and is limited to 3,500 Parrot Heads.  This incredible National Parrot Head Event in Key West is November 2nd - 5th, 2006.  You must be a Parrot Head Club "member in good standing" (dues paid) in order to attend so if your renewal is due, be sure to send in your dues or visit the Membership Table at the next meeting. Storman's Drink Prices
In an effort to "add spice" to the buffet for our regular Parrot Head meetings at Storman's, the Fruitcakes Advisory Board has approved a slight increase in drink prices.  It will be .50 per drink/beer.  Storman’s has only raised prices once in the 9 - 10 years we have been there. The price increase will be effective with the first meeting in June. 

And remember, our next Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club Meeting is scheduled for TONIGHT, Wednesday, May 31st, at Storman's.  See you all there!
