CLUSTER CUT!!!! 
Witness your Chief Officer of Membership, your Chief Officer of Media Relations, your First Mate (unless she chickens out!) as well as several others get shorn for Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their own hair. We will be doing this on the patio out front at 420 at the April 17th meeting at 7 pm.  Anyone who is willing to donate at least 10 inches of their clean hair is MORE than welcome to join in.  
 
 
THIS SATURDAY -- CLEANUP OF PARROT HEAD ISLAND AND POST-PARTY!!
Join your parrothead pals this Saturday for the ANNUAL GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP AND CLEAN UP OF PARROTHEAD ISLAND. We will be meeting on April 21st at 9:00 A.M. and hitting the beach (Parrot Head Island) about 9:30.  The meeting place will be the usual location -- the big parking lot off Rocky Point Road (South) at the east end of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Directions for newcomers -- At the Tampa side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway, look for Rocky Point Road (The Shriner's headquarters building is on the South corner;  there is a traffic light at that intersection). Make a turn south at Rocky Point Road,   heading toward the Rusty Pelican restaurant. You'll see us there in the parking lot. 
 
Don't forget the POST CLEAN-UP PARTY afterwards -- at a great location to be announced Saturday !!!
AND it is a "t-shirt event." If you need community service hours for your school, job, or professional license, this clean up is a great opportunity to receive a certification for Community Service hours. There will be sign up sheets at the Tuesday meeting. The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Cruise is only two weeks away!!!  
YOU CAN STILL GET A LAST-MINUTE BOOKING !!! All you'll need is a passport and payment of the fees. The Carnival Imagination leaves from the Port of Miami on Saturday, April 28th and returns on Thursday, May 3rd. We’ll visit TWO MARGARITAVILLES – one in Grand Cayman, the other in Jamaica. PHOTO MEMORIES -- SCANNERS NEEDED!
Have you noticed how great the club pictures look? Heidi Ho has been working hard to get club photos on the Web. The "Ancient Stuff" pictures are now up and running - check it out!  She is still working on getting thousands more posted, and could still use your help.  If you have a scanner and are willing to take some old photos and put them on CD's, please see Heidi at any meeting for details on how you can help. Also, when you check out out the photos, if you see any errors in the dates or events, please email Heidi . A big thanks to those who have helped and continue to help with this project. Parrot Head Friends had a great time together cleeaning the beaches and enjoying Cheeseburgers in Paradise at the last raft up March 24th on Beer Can Island. ABOUT 420 PARK PLACE...
For newcomers, or if you haven't been to a meeting for a while -- here are the driving directions. 420 Park Plce is located just north of Route 60 (Gulf to Bay) across from the Clearwater Mall entrance. There is a light at the Target Store sign in the Clearwater Mall entrance and the road on the north side of Gulf to Bay is Park Place.  Turn down that road and you will see 420 Park Place a little down on your left.  You can park in that lot or across the street on the north side.
