First of all a big fins up and thanks to everyone who came out yesterday and helped up cleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnn the beaches!!! Great job in helping us live by our motto, “Let’s leave the world a little better than we found it . . . and have a blast doing it!”
 
NEW MEETING HOME AND DAY!
The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club is changing homes and meeting days.  EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO COME TUESDAY NIGHT!!!
 
We hope to see everyone at the first meeting THIS TUESDAY, February 6th.  Then mark your calendars for the 1st and 3rd TUESDAYS of every month as our official meeting days. We will be meeting at the 420 Park Place Night Club and Lounge - http://www.420parkplace.com/ - 727-796-7867.  It is located just off Gulf to Bay across from the Clearwater Mall entrance.  There is a light at the Clearwater Mall entrance and the road on the north side of Gulf to Bay is Park Place.  Turn down that road and you will see 420 Park Place a little down on your left.
 
We realize changing the meeting day from Wednesday to Tuesday will cause a few hassles and we hope everyone can change their schedules as soon as possible.  After a lot of research and work by many of your TPBH Fruitcake Advisory Board, we are convinced that 420 Park Place is the best place for the new home of the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club.  The folks at 420 Park Place are real excited about making our new home the best home we have ever had.  There will be a great buffet, drink specials and all of the fun and more that goes into a Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club meeting.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU WEAR YOUR NAME BADGES (OR GET A NEW ONE AT THE MEETNG) IF YOU WISH TO HAVE THE FREE BUFFETT – PLUS YOU SHOULD BE WEARING IT ANYWAY. We will see ya Tuesday. Buffet News - Florida Concert Update
BUBBA plays Florida this week with two concert dates:
Thursday, February 8 at the AMWAY ARENA, Orlando & Saturday February 10 at the LEON COUNTY CIVIC CENTER, Tallahassee.  The Tallahassee concert proceeds will benefit the United Way of Big Bend.

If You are Going to the Orlando Concert…
The Parrot Heads of Central Florida invite One and All to their Tailgate Party, with non-Stop LIVE Music from 1:00 pm until 7:30 pm on February 8, in the North Parking Lot #3 (Green) of the Amway Arena They’re grilling Cheeseburgers and Hot Dogs. Tickets are $15.00, in advance ONLY. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on the link on the Parrot Heads of Central Florida website (www.phcf.com) NO Tailgate packages will be sold in the Parking Lot.
 
If you are Going to the Tallahassee Concert…
The Tallahassee PHC has a special Parrot Head rate at the Holiday Inn Select…The rate is $73.00 per night plus tax, for Friday February 9 and Saturday February 10. Contact Holiday Inn Select at 850-222-9555 and ask for the Parrot Head rate. 
 
TBPH CRUISE IS FAST APPOACHING....
LOWER PRICES ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE 2007 Tampa Bay PHC CRUISE!!!!!!!!!
Prices have gone down on the cruise and are now $464.69 for an outside cabin and $414.69 for an inside cabin.  If you already signed up for the cruise beforethe prices dropped, the prices will be adjusted automatically.  We’ll visit TWO MARGARITAVILLES – one in Grand Cayman, the other in Jamaica.  Make no mistaka!  The Carnival Imagination leaves for a 5-night cruise from the Port of Miami on Saturday, April 28th and returns on Thursday, May 3rd.  The first stop is Grand Cayman, the second stop is Ocho Rios Jamaica. A $200 deposit per person is due as soon as possible.  The balance is due by February 25th. The Havana Daydreaming meeting is the time for any and all of ideas and suggestions for the club. Past Havana Daydreaming meetings have resulted in new TBPH activities.  Join members-at-large Marilyn and Steve and bring your best ideas to help make the best club in the world even better !!!  Date and location to be announced soon.
 
Saturday, March 24: Tampa Bay Parrot Head Raft Up on Beer Can Island – Captain Norm and Captain Dom are heading up this event. Stay tuned for more info… (Bad weather date is March 31).
 
MOTM
Registration for MOTM 2007, “Barefootin’ Key West” is off to a GREAT start!!! It will pick up speed in the coming months, so don’t wait too long to register. Got Ideas for the MOTM Logo Design? MOTM is looking for logo ideas in a contest for the T-shirt, name badge,and Convention Guide Cover Design. The winner gets free MOTM registration for two. The contest ends on April 30th.
