Well boys and girls after holding our first meeting at our new home 420 Park Place (here and forever referred to by me in my e-mails as 420), it seems that EVERYONE loved the new location.  An awesome time was has by all!
 
We are going to take a few measures to make it even better.  You will notice that the buffet will be moved to where the pool tables are located.  They are going to put on additional staff to help out.  The food is going to be prepared a little more ahead of time.  Bottom line is our new friends at are doing everything they can to make our new home something we love and want to come back to every meeting!
 
Now, what can you do as members to make our new home the best?  Here are a few things that everyone needs to please keep in mind.  I realize I am only talking to a certain percentage of membership with regard to some of these items.
 
1 – TIPPING 
Please take care of your bartenders and waitresses.  We always want them smiling and this is their livelihood.  Most of their income is derived from tips.  PLEASE make sure you tip them generously.  I realize that at the last meeting there were challenges at times to get drinks.  It was certainly not from a lack of effort and 420 is addressing that by adding on more staff.  Nonetheless, this is our home and when we are in our home we take care of our people.  We work with 420 to provide good drink prices which should enable everyone to properly tip.  Please do so ALL of the time.   
 
2 – BUFFET
The free buffet is for our paid members and potential members.  I am sure everyone will admit that the food is awesome and plentiful.  This is a benefit for our membership.  It is based on the idea that when we attend a meeting we will be having 2 or more drinks per person.  This is what makes it work mathematically.  At this point we will not be checking membership status but please help us self govern as it benefits all of us.  You DO need to wear your name badge to get a plate and you must be a member paid in full to eat at the buffet for free or be a potential member coming for the first time.   If you come and are not a paid member, please sign up.  One more note on the buffet.  When we started 12+ years ago, all we had was free chips and salsa.  The buffet has steadily grown from that.  We want to be able to have a buffet for all of our paid/potential members that attend.  Please only take one plate of food and hopefully it is not your only meal of the day.   
 
3 – BUFFETT

4 – POSTERS & BANNERS & SWAG – OH MY!
Signage, banners, posters and other booty that has Margaritaville Tequila, Capt. Morgan, Landshark Beer, Corona or anything else printed on it are not for people to take home with them unless we give them to you.  These are for us to use as decorations for each meeting.  We will have times during the year when we can give some of this stuff away.  But please do not take these.  We need them for each meeting.  Again help us self govern with this in a friendly way.
 
4 – PARKING
There are several places you can park if the lot right in front of 420 is packed.  After you turn into Park Place off Gulf to Bay, when you take the next left to head towards 420 instead of taking another left to go into the front lot, go to the lot on the right side of the road – kind of across the street from 420.  There is plenty of parking there.
 
Did I mention to please tip well all of the time???
