If you didn’t get a chance to join us for these pre concert parties and activities you missed out on some great fun and the opportunity to help with our worthwhile charity drives!!!

 

We kicked off the week with our Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre Concert Party at the Dogwater Café in Clearwater! We had a great crowd of Parrot Heads and enjoyed the music of Connie and The DeLei’ed Parrots all evening!

 



 



 

We had a raffle with some great prizes and the proceeds of over $200 went to the USF Endowment Fund! Thanks to all who participated!!

 



 

The event was sponsored by The Dogwater and Landshark Lager so there were plenty of “beer samples” and T-shirts for our members!

Junk-In-The-Trunk Event and Pre-Pre-Pre-Pre Party

 






Our Chief Officers of Special Events Joanie and Val organized a great activity to raise money for the USF Endowment Fund! The event was at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Clearwater. Even thru the rain, the participating Parrot Heads raised over $850.00 by selling their stuff and donating the proceeds. 

  

  

Jim Lanier provided the music at the start and in the afternoon The Eric Stone Band took over! We danced and sang like good Parrot Heads always do!

  

We had a raffle that contributed to the Endowment Fund with the GRAND prize of 2 Orchestra section tickets to the Jimmy Buffett Concert. There were also some great prizes and a 50/50 raffle won by Bill Church of Quaker Steak who kicked his winnings back into the fund!

  

This event was also sponsored by Landshark Lager so there were plenty of “beer samples” and T-shirts for our members!

5th Tuesday Pre-Pre-Pre Party at 420 Park Place!

 






 

What a GREAT Party we had for our 5th Tuesday! The 420 Park Place put on a great Halloween Event and the TBPH Club was well represented! We had pirates, Flintstones, school girls, hippies and parrots!

 

  

 

  

 

Patrick Foy and the Conch Critters played some great tunes all night!

 



 

And we had a costume contest and out of many great entries the winners were: The Flintstones!

Pre-Pre Party at Kahunas

 






 



The fourth Pre Concert Party was held at Kahunas and since Peg and I were in Key West didn’t get the opportunity to attend this one. Another great turn out and support for the USF Endowment Fund. A HUGE Teeeeeam Drink to Jim Kendrick of Kahunas for donating 10% of his outdoor bar revenue towards this great cause!

 






 

Pre Concert Tailgate Party at Ford Amphitheatre

 






The final Pre Concert Party was the actual Tailgate Party at the Saturday Jimmy Buffett Concert. I really hated to miss this one but since we were in Key West don’t have photos or a good recap of the activities. NanaBabe said this was a co-party along with the Sarasota PHC with Albert Hinojosa as DJ and Jon Moffitt singing. There was an actual Tiki Bar and even a wedding!!

Throughout the entire Pre-Party efforts our club raised over $1700.00 towards the USF Endowment Fund!! Great Job to all who contributed and a HUGE Teeeeam Drink to you!!!
