Wow, things have finally slowed down … just a little ! 



** We had a great clean up at Davis Island on Saturday.  The weather was definitely here, someone took that other weather with them to some other place for the day. We thank them!  We’d also like to thank Elmer’s for having us and giving us a GREAT Oriental Buffet!  Big kudos go to Big Wave Dave and McGill for putting it all together for us!

FloriDaze ... where pale invaders and tanned crusaders are worshipping the sun!! 



There will of course be THE BEST Trop-Rock line up ... LIVE ... ON THE BEACH!  Parrot Head- style sporting competitions!!  A special evening of PHUN partying with a purpose to raise funds for a great cause.  The details are being finalized and will be released soon so stay tuned.

* Where - Bright House Networks Field (Baseball Stadium) 1 mile NORTH of SR60 (Gulf to Bay) on Hwy 19 in Clearwater, FL. 

 

LIVE Music in the Parking Lot:
"Hurricane" Gordon will be playing from Noon to 1:30 
Capt. Josh Ramsteck will take the stage at 2PM and play until 3:30. 
"CRACKERS" will be up from 4PM until 5:30pm 

Gates open at 5:30PM
Wiley Fox will perform on the Main Stage from 6 - 7:30pm.
The Caribbean Chillers Show will run from 8pm - 11pm! 

Thats a FULL TWELVE HOURS of tailgating and GREAT MUSIC!!

We have decided to make the End of Hurricane Season Tailgate Party and Concert a Club Sponsored Event, and support it 100%!  This will be "our" Party and one last chance to Tailgate and see a Concert as we say "Goodbye" to the end of the 2007 Hurricane season!  A portion of ALL ticket sales will be donated to the Club!  
Nearby Hotels include Best Western and LaQuinta, at about $60-$70 for a double Room.  Some Hotels are only a couple blocks away.

** DECEMBER 8: HOLIDAY PARTY

Our Holiday Party will be held at the Treasure Island Community Center.  ENTERTAINMENT  PROVIDED BY 
CONNIE AND THE DE LEI'ED PARROTS.  Rooms are available at a special Parrot Head rate of $59-$69 
and $79-119 for efficiencies at the Trail's End Motel until 11/10/07.  Phone the Trail's End at

 A note from Dorothy: I'm looking for volunteers for the turkeys and hams for the Holiday Party.
The club reimburses for them, we just need volunteers to cook. I need 2 volunteers for turkeys and 2 
for ham.  If you're willing to volunteer, please let me know. Also, I'll have a sign-up sheet for volunteers 
for set-up & clean-up committees at the meeting.

** First Party of the New Year

Parrotheads will trade in Flip Flops for Bowling Shoes on Saturday, January 19.  Please sign up at the next meeting or at TBPHparties at verizon.net to see which side of the bay it will be on.  Give us your name and city .Majority Wins!
