Hello Parrotheads, Fans, and Friends,

?

This is a group email going out to a BUNCH of people I consider my friends and fans,?and I'd appreciate you forwarding it along to make sure everyone gets it before Saturday.

?

After tracking the "End of Hurricane Season"?Ticket Sales for the past week, I can tell you that we've have had such a lack of interest, (sales), in the event, that I have no choice but to call it off.? I made the decision?just a short while ago, hoping against all odds that sales would improve, but that has not happened, is not likely to happen, and I have no choice but to fold.

?

Everyone who bought a ticket, or paid for a Vendor spot will be re-imbursed as soon as possible.? 

?

The interesting part is,?I'll still owe?several thousand dollars?in fees, principle?and interest on investment capital, even though we're not doing the event.? The alternative would be MUCH more costly if we didn't sell over 2,000 tickets in the next 36 hours. 

?

I did everything possible to make it happen; spending tens of thousands of dollars on radio advertising, sending out over 100,000 emails, and talking to everyone I came in contact with about the event.? We built it - but?folks have just decided not to come.

?

A lot of time, money, and rehearsals went into the production of this event, and I'm sorry that you won't get to see?the show?we put together.? It looked great in rehearsal.

In fact, this event was a "do or die" project for me.? 

Other than New Years Eve, or the 2 or 3 Corporate events we?already have booked in Florida, you won't see me with the Chillers?again.

Not a big loss in the overall scheme of things, but lots of people?seemed to enjoy our shows,?and that made the whole thing worthwhile.

?

Nothing we accomplished, or tried to accomplish, would have been possible without an audience, friends, and fans, so thank you for that.? It's been great!

I know that a?lot of us were planning on being there and I hope no one is too inconvenienced.? I'm really disappointed not to be able to play with the band Gordon had put together, we invested many hours in rehearsal and it was going to be fun! Any suggestions on what to do with the food and drinks and decorations and plans??Party somewhere else?
