OK and now for the very last time as the official Captain of the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club I say to you in e-mail form prior to a meeting . . .

 

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Tampa Bay Parrot Heads!

 

Our next meeting and my final meeting as Captain of this wonderful club is manana, Tuesday, September 4th, at the 420 Park Place....THIS IS ALSO THE FINAL MEETING BEFORE OUR BIGGGG ASS BIRTHDAY PARTY AND MY RETIREMENT AS CAPTAIN PARTY THAT I HOPE EVERYONE ATTENDS!!!   

 

Our 13th Birthday Party is this weekend September 7 and 8, 2007 !  The location is the Holiday Inn Harbourside at Indian Rocks Beach. Contact the hotel at  www.hiharbourside.com. OR...Call them at 800-726-0865. Our block of rooms is sold out.  BUT... you can still make a reservation at the standard rate and the rate will be adjusted at check-in to the Parrot Head rate.  ENTERTAINMENT WILL BE SPECTACTULAR !!! John Frinzi playing Friday night, Flip-Flop Dave playing at the pool on Saturday,  Jack Mosley and Patrick Foy & The Conch Critters playing Saturday night. Don't miss out!!!  

 

NEXT CLEAN UP OF PARROT HEAD ISLAND

 Saturday, September 15th is our next clean up.  It is also the date for the Florida Coastal Cleanup. Each year on the 3rd Saturday in September, Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful coordinates the Clean Up locally. This event is part of the International Coastal Cleanup, which is coordinated by the Ocean Conservancy. This is the largest marine-related Clean Up in the world! AND IT IS A T-SHIRT EVENT. Be a part of it.  There will be signup sheets at the meetings. MOTM

Dates for MOTM are October 31 to Nov 3, 2007.  AND REMEMBER WE HAVE OUR KEY WEST BIG ASS PARTY COMING UP ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON, NOVEMBER 1ST AT SCHOONER'S WHARF!!!  The club has a block of rooms at the Southernmost Hotel in Key West at $179 plus tax per night. We must reserve the rooms all together as one black.  If you need a room at the Southernmost, please see Sharon Leverett or any member of the TBPH Welcome Court at the meeting Tuesday. A credit card number is needed to confirm your reservation. 

 

We ARE also taking pre-orders for the Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club MOTM T-Shirts, with another great design by Jay Bird!!  

 

 

VOLUNTEER FOR MEMBERSHIP 
We need YOUR help to get new members signed up at the membership table.  Andy, our Chief Officer of Membership, is looking for people-oriented people who can help man the table at the Tuesday meetings. See Andy at the meetings, or else send him an email at a1a_andy at verizon.net. 

 

ZOOFARI

Saturday, November 3rd is the date for the Lowry Park Zoo Zoofari celebration ....a huge festival featuring food and beverage catered by Tampa Bay's finest restaurants!!!  Tampa Bay Parrot Heads who volunteer to clean up after the event get into the event for FREE. SO...ZOOFARI is a great choice if you will not be in Key West for MOTM, and will not be at the Saturday Buffett concert!!  There will be Zoofari signup sheets at the meetings.
