Hey everybody!!…. Was that a great beach cleanup or what??

 

HUGE thanks and a Teeeeam drink to all the volunteers who came out on Saturday to help “Clean the Beaches” .. Big Wave Dave tells me we had over 90 VOLUNTEERS enduring over 90 degree heat to do our part in “leaving the World a little better than we found it and having a blast doing it”…



Everyone who came out to volunteer his or her time to participate in the worthwhile charity event, hats off to YOU !!! For those of you who couldn’t join us, we hope you can come out for the next beach cleanup!! Big Wave Dave, our Director of Community Events, will make sure we are all aware of our next event so check in regularly at www.finsup.com !! Again, You all deserve a HUGE  Teeeeeeeam Drink for coming out and promoting our motto:  Let’s Leave the World a Little Better Than we Found IT…And Have a Blast Doin’ It!”

Our Tampa Bay Parrot head Club gathered up over 200 bags of trash!! So much that we actually ran out of trash bags!!! If that isn’t dedication from a hard working group of volunteers then I don’t know what is!!! Great Job Everybody!!! You exemplify the term “VOLUNTEER”!!!

This was the International Coastal Cleanup in participation with "Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful" event. The International Coastal Cleanup takes place around the world, and as CommandoBabe said, the only other thing that the entire WORLD does at the same time is New Years Day!! It is a huge event and a Teeeeeam Drink to “Big Wave” Dave for his time and effort in coordinating our part of it! Let’s all buy him an Ice Cold Landshark for his hard work! Great Job Dave!!!

After the Cleanup we all met at Kahunas! Jim and crew made us feel very welcome and provided a great lunch buffet! There was some of the best chicken wings I’ve ever had, salads, rice with shrimps in it!! WOW!!! Chicken cordon bleu thingies and a triangle thing that I had no idea what it was... But, it was delicious! Thank You Kahunas for hosting us!
