The
Tampa Bay Parrot Head Party ship docks
at Kahuna’s on Gandy Blvd, tomorrow,
Tuesday. January 29th, for a club phlocking.



 



420 Park Place is no more!!!



By
now, you all have heard that 420
  Park Place has closed its doors. Our dear friend, Jim Kendrick at
Kahuna’s, has
graciously given us the green light to hold our meeting there this Tuesday, January 29. It won't be an oPHicial
meeting, with all the bells and whistles, but it will be an opportunity to get
together to socialize, take care of some business, and have a few
teeeeeeeeaaaaaam drinks.







We
will be outside if weather permits and we’ll have live music coming from the Love Shack provided by “Island Bill” Haughey.  If you have never had the distinct pleasure
of listening to Bill dance his fingers across his guitar strings playing a
great selection of Buffett tunes, you owe it to yourself !







There
will be Cheeseburgers In Paradise for $1.39 as well as
some awesome drink specials, so be sure to come on out at the usual time - 6:30ish - and show
Kahuna’s some love for opening the doors to us on such short notice.

Advisory Board is once again on the prowl to find a new place to
"roost" and if any of you know of a business suited to our needs that is
centrally located (i.e.close to either end of the bridges that span Tampa Bay)
please drop an email and let us go check it out.







BOWLING
MADNESS 

A big
Teeeeeeeam drink to the 65 Parrot Heads who bowled and sang their hearts out at
karaoke on January 19th, at Dunedin
Lanes. Everyone had such a great time that we are going to try to
squeeze another bowling date into the calendar sometime later in the summer!!!!.

The February clean up of Parrot Head
 Island is part of our
required effort as Adopt-a-Shore
representatives. There will
be signup sheets at Kahuna’s on January 29. If you can't make the meetings, please contact David, Chief
Officer of Community Events at dolphin96 at verizon.net, 727-543-6548 (c) or 727-734-8263 (h). As
always, we will meet in the parking lot of The Rusty Pelican on the south end
of N Rocky Point Dr, off the east end of the Courtney Campbell Causeway at 9AM and hit the
beaches about 9:30. Bring gloves
and wear closed toed shoes. The
after-Clean Up party will be at the Banana Boat on Gandy Blvd.

 BAY LIGHTNING GAME

We
will start the party at 4:30PM at The Hut the former   Newks, across from the St. Pete
Times Forum, for dinner and drinks out on the porch. There will be drink specials and
deals on meals. This will be your chance for a once in a life time thrill- to win a ride on the Zamboni
AND see your name in lights! Game tickets will be available at the meetings,  raffle tickets at The Hut, and we’ll announce the winner just
minutes before the game. Hurry and sign up as we have a limited # of tickets
available. Remember to dress in your most colorful Parrot Wear for this event! We want to stand out!!!
