The Tampa Bay Parrot Head Party ship docks once again at Kahuna’s on Gandy Blvd, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4th, for our club meeting. You'll wanna be there, and hear more details about our upcoming club events...Here's a quick list...



SATURDAY, MARCH 8th AND SATURDAY MARCH 15th:

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES WITH TAMPA BAY WATCH


Tampa Bay Watch has scheduled a salt marsh grass planting for March 8 & 15 in Terra Ceia Bay. Wear comfortable closed heel/toe shoes that can get muddy, NOT CROCS & clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring a water bottle, although there will be water available at the work site. Anyone who wants to volunteer please contact "St. Pete Pete," at pls_917 at hotmail.com, or Diane at  dkranz1 at tampabay.rr.com. They will provide specific information about time and locations.



TUESDAY, MARCH 11th: THE VOLCANO BLOWS... BRING YOUR IDEAS AND COMMENTS ABOUT THE CLUB

The annual Volcano meeting is the time to bring forth your feedback, comments, and concerns about the Tampa Bay Parrot Head club. Our two Members-at-Large, Vee and Pat, will be on hand at Kahunas, beginning at 6:30PM, Tuesday March 11th. Other Fruitcakes board members will NOT be present. Members-at-Large will NOT reveal your identity to Board members, as an incentive for everyone to speak freely to help make the best club in the World even better!!!!



SATURDAY, MARCH 29th: PARROT HEADS AT TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING

LAST CHANCE FOR TICKETS!!!

We start the party at 4:30PM at The Hut, across from the St. Pete Times Forum, for dinner and drinks out on the porch. Happy Hour from 4:30 to 6:30! This is your chance for a once in a life time thrill- to win a ride on the Zamboni AND see your name in lights! Game tickets will be available ONLY at the meeting TUESDAY. YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE... Game tickets are $25.00 pp. Raffle tickets are $5.00/ea, and we’ll announce the winner just minutes before the game. Hurry and sign up as we have a limited # of tickets available. Remember to dress in your most colorful Parrot Wear for this event! We want to stand out!!! 





SATURDAY, April 12th: PIG ROAST.....PIG ROAST....PIG ROAST

It's getting to be the pig roast time of year. Mark your calendars for Saturday April 12th, for the annual not-to-be-missed pig roast at Kahunas. The party starts at at 5:00 pm and dinner will be ready at 7:00 pm.  Entertainment will be Flip Flop Dave and Tropical Brain Freeze. Tickets are $12.00 in advance and are available at club meetings. Tickets are $15.00 at the door, and $10.00 if you are not going to eat. 



SATURDAY, April 19th...CLEEEEEEAN THE BEACHES

April 19, 2008 is the Great American Cleanup. Once again we will be cleaning our portion of the Courtney Campbell Causeway lovingly dubbed "Parrot Head Island." This is a "t-shirt event." There will be signup sheets at the meetings or contact David, Chief Officer of Community Events dolphin96 at verizon.net, or by phone at 727-543-6548 (c) or 727-734-8263 (h). This is also an opportunity to get credit for Community Service hours for school or your job or any other circumstance (Parrot Heads don’t ask questions). As always, we will meet in the parking lot of The Rusty Pelican on the south end of Rocky Point Dr, off the east end of the Courtney Campbell Causeway at 9:00 and hit the beaches about 9:30. Bring gloves and a hat and wear good (closed toe) shoes. Post-party will be at Quaker Steak & Lube.

MAY 15-17: MANATEE BALL AND THE BIGGEST PARTY OF THE DECADE

at the Tradewinds Resort, on St. Pete Beach. Registrations are moving fast, we are well over halfway sold out, so get yourself registered SOON !!!! Remember, all of the info is on our FloriDaze website www.FloriDaze.org. The entertainment lineup is there as well as information about the Manatee Ball and CD release event. There's also a sponsor page that is growing continuously as we get closer to May.
