FIRST
IT'S TIME TO REGISTER! If you haven't
registered...you can register for MOTM right now

closes on September 30th or when we reach 3,500
Parrot Heads. September 30th is 36 days
away!
MUSIC
NEWS! As I write this I am in Key West and I
just had the pleasure of spending the afternoon
with Tall Paul. Paul just happened to have a
copy of the new unreleased "Girlz Rule" for us
to listen to as we enjoyed the afternoon on the
shores of the crystal clear tropical water.
The group is still finalizing the cd but
the bottom line is this cd sounds GREAT! The cd
should be available by the time you arrive in
Key West for MOTM! Even better? Lynley Tolls,
Kristie Bobal, and Heather Vidal are going to be
performing on the MOTM stage! Make sure you are
there!
I
was just on the phone taking to John Frinzi
about the band he is bringing to Key West for
his set. I thought I would pass on the names of
the people in the band so you can get ready for
an incredible set on the main stage at the Casa
Marina on Saturday! John is bringing
Charlie DeCosa, Willie Rast, Emily Leader, and
Rob Peck. Coral Reefer Doyle Grisham will be on
pedal steel during this performance and other
special guests will be joining. Before I
change topics I want to give you a heads up on
the Thursday Night "John Frinzi and Friends" for
this year. There will be so many awesome
musicians on the beach stage at 11:30 PM I would
get a seat early. The entire Coral Reefer Band
is flying in from an as yet un-announced gig
into Key West on Wednesday! You will see
everyone from Michael Utley to Doyle Grisham on
the stage for this gig! Coral Reefer alumni
Keith Sykes will be in the house so look for him
to join as well! This one is a "don't miss and
get a chair early."
Will
Kimbrough, Tommy Womack, Casey Woods, and
Marshall Chapman are in Key West for Meeting of
the Minds by Wednesday! More to come on that in
my next note...

MARINA UPDATE: AS OF TODAY WE HAVE ROOMS AT THE
CASA MARINA!! There were several people
who just cancelled their rooms and they are now
available up on the web site!! GO BOOK THEM
NOW!! Don't forget...there is a 60 day
cancellation policy in effect at the Casa
Marina. If you can't make it to MOTM this year
please cancel your reservation so another Parrot
Head can stay at the Casa Marina!

REGISTRATION:
Remember where the Mini Mart has been? Well that
is where you will be registering this year! You
will enter through the left side ballroom doors
and our registration team is ready to move you
through in short order as we are going to have
lots of space and lots of volunteers to get you
to the PARTY!!
The
PARTY: On Thursday which is the first
morning of registration there is going to be a
PARTY in the courtyard of the Casa Marina which
is the outside area in front of where you have
previously registered. MOTM virgins, don't worry
as there will be signs and people directing you
to the place to go! The Calypso Nuts are going
to be playing from 9:00 to 12:00 and they will
be rocking the courtyard. In addition to the
Calypso Nuts the stilt walkers and other cool
people will be there to crank up the Phun!!
There will be cash bars for you in the area as
we want you to enjoy your morning in the Mini
Mart and the PARTY!
The
MINI MART: The mini mart is expanded and sold
out this year! There is going to be a long list
of vendors selling your favorite Parrot Head
things! Book authors? Yes they will be
there...We are also pleased to announce plenty
of chances to meet your favorite Trop Rock
musicians in person as well as the Coral Reefer
Band. More to come on the times for these events
just watch the new information boards as
you enter the Casa Marina and updates on the
YAPP mobile application on your phones even as
the event is going on! Be sure to visit the Mini
Mart for the PHiP raffle, gift basket displays,
and PHiP MOTM merchandise tables as well!

closing in on those announcements!
