Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo Tampa Bay Parrot Heads!!!!!

Tampa Bay Watch needs volunteers for salt marsh planting. If you can assists, please sign up at the link below.

Good morning Sharon,

I'm the Volunteer Coordinator for Tampa Bay Watch. We are in need of a lot more volunteers for a huge project next weekend and I was hoping that you could help me by spreading the word to your fellow Parrot Heads! Here is all of the information below. Thank you in advance for your help!

Tampa Bay Watch is planning the largest salt marsh planting in our history and we need your help! On Saturday, November 22, it's our goal is to plant 40,000 plugs of salt marsh to restore the Rock Ponds near Ruskin. To accomplish this, we need help from hundreds of volunteers, so grab your family, friends, co-workers, teammates, and anyone you know to come out and lend a hand to help restore Tampa Bay!

Planting salt marsh helps improve water quality, prevent erosion, absorb storm surge, and provides important habitat for native fish and wildlife.
