We require MMR, Varicella and TB screening, along with requiring them to respond to our flu campaign. They can either get a flu vaccine or decline if they wish.
We also offer Tdap and hepatitis B vaccines if needed; it is not required that they receive them.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Volunteers
Hi,
I am trying to get our volunteers (auxiliary staff) in my EH program and caught up with what is the minimum needed to be Joint Commission compliant.
Does this require a background check, UDS, PPD, and proof of MMR and Varicella and annual Influenza?
Please let me know what you require.
We live in rural Texas, most auxiliary staff are over 65 yrs.
Thank You.
