Subject: [MCOH-EH] ETOH Blood Testing
Good morning,
Our Employee Health Department is responsible for the blood ETOH testing for employees that require testing for fit for duty/reasonable suspicion.
We drew the blood with a gray topped tube that we obtained from Quest. The tubes have been delivered to us in a sealed box. Quest is no longer providing the gray tubes in the manner. They sent us the tubes in a zip lock bag. How do I
prove that these tubes have not been tampered with. Has this been a challenge for your clinics? How have you overcome this challenge.
I appreciate your thoughts and time.
