They can take a shuttle or drive over or sometimes get brought by security

It works most the time

If its an emergency and they are in the hospital we call code and they go to the ED to stabilize and transport to an adult facility

If they are unable to transport to us and likely need urgent or ED care we would call an ambulance to take them to an adult ED

How do you handle getting injured workers to you?

Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Employee Health is off site from the main campus.

There are shuttles to us from the local campuses… but outlying satellites have to travel to us.

It is something the employees don’t appreciate but we make it work.

Does anyone have an off site Employee Health separate from main hospital campus? If so, how does it work?
