Yes, we have just instituted such a program. Our cancer center nurses, pharmacy techs and IV therapy nurses are all in the program; as well as some pharmacists.

The best resource you can use for developing a program is the Oncology Nursing Society’s handbook on Hazardous drug management.

There is a surveillance questionnaire; CBC ; Chem and U/A with micro.
