List,

Our medical facility has just approved the use of Pepper Spray Gel (oleoresin capsicum) for our safety and security employees.  They will begin training which will include team member exposures to the spray so they are familiar with the effects.  They have asked me to determine what, if any, pre-exposure examinations should be performed for the employees.  Does anyone have protocols for examinations or any experience from an employee health perspective?

Thanks in advance for your feedback…

Ken
