If it is here on campus, our adult ED sees them. They follow the protocol we provided and we get notified electronically and follow up the next workday.

 

If they are offsite and can’t get to the ED our on-call provider provides telephonic evaluation and directs their treatment and testing.

How does your institution address needlesticks after hours?  Do you have an on-line reporting system, do you have a designated on-call person, or do you use the Emergency Department?  Would love to hear from other institutions.
