My apologies for asking about products on the list serv, but my facility is in need of purchasing gas-proof goggles for eye protection for our Decontamination Team in case we have a formaldehyde spill. I discovered that the hooded PAPRS
we have for the Decontamination Team implicitly state that gas-proof goggles are needed to be worn along with the hooded PAPRS when used for formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is used in our Histology department and the staff there use full face respirators so they
are protected. I am finding it very difficult to find a vendor for gas-proof goggles. I am hoping to avoid having to purchase full face respirators to replace the hooded PAPRS.
Thanks!
