Have any of you implemented a surveillance program for staff working with TICE BCG?

A. From Merck: Vaccine Agent Summary Sheet (VASS) for BCG Live, TICE® BCG

1. Medical Surveillance: employees working in BCG areas require:

· Pre-employment evaluation consists of a quantitative interferon test and chest x-ray.

· A quantitative interferon test annually.

· Employees must also complete the TB questionnaire which asks about immune suppression.
