We have not but have thought a lot about it.  With 5 hospitals and 200 clinics under UCLA Health and a vast array of off- site labs and activities under UCLA campus, not to mention travelers, we do a great deal by phone and email; even some LTBI prophy with IHN + rifapentine DOT via FaceTime.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Telemed for Employee Health

Question for the group.

For those with large networks, multi-site campuses, has anyone developed their own “telemed” program for their employees for minor non-work related illnesses?

We are looking at using a Nurse practitioner for this service and the goal is to decrease the ED visits for non-acute illnesses.

If you have developed a program like this, would you mind sharing how you set it up?

Thank you!
