Such a good memory!  Here is my PPoint from AOHC 2009, and most important slides are 6,7, and 10.  Out of over 9,000 exposures spanning 15 years, there were 214 protocols to follow outcome of exposures involving a source patient with an elevated ALT.  None resulted in HBV or HCV infection or elevated ALT in the exposed employee.  Thus, the concerns about “window period” seemed to lack rigor.
