Small slide board when you can remove arm of wheelchair, placed under buttock , then can slide from car to wheelchair. Most WC dependent patients use this,
however, most hospital wheelchairs arms are NOT removable. In that case it is more difficult, the stand & pivot method might help, if pt can give some assistance, otherwise lift equipment or lift team to assist

Can anyone advise on a good piece of equipment to use for getting a patient into or out of a car. Preferably rather small and portable with no slings.
