Meredith,
For our health system, we use a small colored label that is 1 ¼ in. x ¼ inch. It is placed in the upper part of the badge, so it does not interfere with swiping. A different colored sticker is used each year,
and the current immunization season is indicated, e.g. 2016-17 will be indicated on this year’s stickers.
We also have staff e.g. physicians who go to 2 or 3 other hospitals here in the medical district. The white sticker has the logo of the three facilities, and the trim color of the sticker rotates over a 3
year period,
(red, blue and purple), and the logos rotate to the center of the sticker over a 3 year period. The trim color of the sticker depends on the logo in the center. For example, when Children’s log is in the center,
it is a white sticker with red trim. Contact me if more info is needed.

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Designating Employees as Vaccinated for Flu
How does your organization identify that an employee has been vaccinated for influenza? Last year, we ordered plain colored badges that were long enough that they hung below the employee’s identification
badge. We’re considering printed badge holders or stickers to place on the badge for this flu season. Many of our employees swipe their badges through a time clock, and we don’t want to use any method of identification that could impact their badge swipe.
Thank you,
Meredith
