All our vendors have till November to show proof of vaccine or their access is cut off
We only give vaccine to certain vendors like for food services
They have to submit their documents into our portal that is required for getting badged

Same question… for NHSN reporting for flu shots – are you requiring vendors to bring proof when they enter the building during the season? Do you offer them vaccines if they work in your area ? yesterday and
today we have some men looking in ceiling tiles all over the building to update our sprinkler system, after today they will be gone.. should they be asked about their status if they came after November 1st? and how do you all get notified of when
these vendors are coming??

Subject: [MCOH-EH] Vendor
Hello all,
How do you define a vendor?
Are there any vendor types that your facility “exempts” of health screening requirements? Capital project staff, regulatory surveyors, ambulance drivers, installers?
Do you have any time period that would warrant exemption? ie. Vendor coming to repair equipment in non-patient care area for one day?
Do you separate them into different groups such as patient care areas vs non-patient care areas?
Any guidance is appreciated.
Sincerely, Erika
