There are 8 exercises required in the OSHA standard.  The bending over exercise must be done in the standing position.  The exercises must be done for the time indicated in the standard.

What is your practice for respirator fit testing exercises – do you have the employee sitting or standing?  The OSHA standard states that the first 5 postures need to be completed in a standing position but the last (bending over) does not clarify the posture.
