Our facility is doing a comparison in anticipation of purchasing a new Employee Health database.  Would you be willing to share information about the database you are using.

 

What current database are you utilizing? We use several; SYSTOC for work injuries; but not for BBP exposures, and in house database for surveillance and a separate in house system for flu vaccines; yet another for animal workers in house soon to be replaced with a new one in house build for research work

Does it meet your needs? Yes but imperfectly

Does it include an Employee Self Serve Portal for immunizations?  Consents and VIS are on line at our website along with other forms

Does it include a manager Self Serve Portal? Clearances for  onboarding, flu, TB and animal research work are accessible by managers

Does it have scanning capabilities? SYSTOC does but not great

Georgia- Does the database interface with GRITS (Georgia Registry)? No;  We try to keep the grits on the plates and not on the computers J
