Because of your continued support, MLP made tremendous strides in 2006:

    * We welcomed St. Mark's Presbyterian Church, Tucson, Arizona and
      Second Presbyterian Church, Nashville, Tennessee as new *More
      Light Churches*.

    * We were able to* send Michael Adee to do field outreach in 17
      states* this year, which translates into personal visits,
      teaching, preaching and training with thousands of
      Presbyterians in churches and presbyteries, and on Presbyterian
      college & seminary campuses across the country.

    * We shared 2,000 personalized *Right Now postcards* with all 690
      General Assembly Commissioners in Birmingham along with the
      advance mailing of /Voices of LGBTA Presbyterians/ & our /Call to
      Justice: Right Now/ strategy statement that provided support for
      ordination overtures from 22 Presbyteries.

    * We helped make history by participating in *Transforming Faith - A
      Transgender Witness*, the first national transgender faith
      conference in Corvallis, Oregon.

    * Our web site featured over 200 *news items* in 2006, all written
      or edited by MLP volunteers to keep you up to date on LGBT
      concerns within the Presbyterian Church.  Our daily, and sometimes
      hourly, coverage of the 2006 General Assembly in Birmingham
      provided an ongoing inside look and news reporting directly from
      the front lines of our efforts for equality.

    * 54 Churches participated in *More Light Sunday 2006*, over four
      times the 12 participants in our first year in 2004.

    * We developed *new educational resources* with hundreds of resource
      packets sent to pastors, educators and churches.
