I contacted Johan M. Strandson, Area Director for Windham and New London Counties, USDA - Rural Development Norwich Service Center. He has given me the following information: Who may apply Community Programs provides grants to assist in the development of essential community facilities in rural areas and towns of up to 20,000 in population. Grants are authorized on a graduated scale. Applicants located in small communities with low populations and low incomes will receive a higher percentage of grants. Grants are available to public entities such as municipalities, counties, and special-purpose districts, as well as non-profit corporations and tribal governments. Public libraries that serve the whole community just use the town list. A branch library that serves a specific area can use the cities, borough & census designated places list. (See attached lists). In addition, applicants must have the legal authority necessary for construction, operation, and maintenance of the proposed facility and also be unable to obtain needed funds from commercial sources at reasonable rates and terms. Fund Uses top Grant funds may be used to assist in the development of essential community facilities. Grant funds can be used to construct, enlarge, or improve community facilities for health care, public safety, and community and public services. This can include the purchase of equipment required for a facility's operation. A grant may be made in combination with other CF financial assistance such as a direct or guaranteed loan, applicant contributions, or loans and grants from other sources. For examples of essential community facilities click here<../cf/essent_facil.htm>. The Community Facilities Grant Program is typically used to fund projects under special initiatives, such as Native American community development efforts; child care centers linked with the Federal government's Welfare-to-Work initiative; Federally-designated Enterprise and Champion Communities, and the Northwest Economic Adjustment Initiative area. Maximum Grant top The amount of grant assistance for project costs depends upon the median household income and the population in the community where the project is located and the availability of grant funds. In most instances, projects which receive grant assistance have a high priority and are highly leveraged with other loan and grant awards. Grant assistance may be available for up to 75% of project costs. Grant funding limitations are based on population and income, economic feasibility, and availability of funds. Projects will be selected based on a priority point system. Projects that will receive priority are those that: [cid:image001.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Serve small communities - with the highest priority going to projects located in a community with a population of 5,000 or less. [cid:image001.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Serve low-income communities - with the highest priority going to projects serving communities with median household incomes below the higher of the poverty line or 60% of the State non-metropolitan median household income. [cid:image001.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Provide healthcare, public safety, or public and community services Limitations top Grant funds cannot be used to: [cid:image004.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Pay any annual recurring costs, including purchases or rentals that are generally considered to be operating and maintenance expenses [cid:image004.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Construct or repair electric generating plants, electric transmission lines, or gas distribution lines to provide services for commercial sale [cid:image004.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Pay costs to construct facilities to be used for commercial rental where the applicant has no control over tenants and services offered [cid:image004.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Construct facilities primarily for the purpose of housing State, Federal or quasi-Federal agencies [cid:image004.gif@01CAA0C8.77863D30] Finance recreational facilities or community antenna television services or facilities Application Processing top Applications are filed with the USDA Rural Development field offices. The Governor is not proposing any changes to the FY2010-2011 budget for library programs that directly affect libraries. There is also no indication of any further cuts to the current budget. All accounts, with the notable exception of the State Library?s personal services budget and book budget, remain as previously appropriated for FY2010-2011 (the budget that begins July 1st). This is very good news, however I would not be surprised if we saw similar midyear reductions that we experienced this year. But this is a good place to start. The only cuts to the State Library are $57,000 in the State Library?s materials budget and a large cut in our personnel line that reflects the savings of our early retirement incentive program through the elimination of 11 vacant full time positions. Grants to public libraries $347, 109 Connecticard Payments $1,226,028 Support for CLC $350,000 Info Anytime $42,500 iCONN $1,973,516 reQuest $674,696 Ccar delivery $266,434 Also, there were no cuts to the Connecticut Education Network. Unfortunately there are no additional bonding funds for public library construction. _____________________________ Sharon Brettschneider Director, Division of Library Development Connecticut State Library 231 Capitol Avenue Hartford, CT 06106 860-757-6665 sbrett@cslib.org ct.webjunction.org Fax 860-757-6503 From teustis at killingworthlibrary.org Wed Feb 3 10:06:09 2010 From: teustis at killingworthlibrary.org (Tammy Eustis) Date: Wed Feb 3 10:06:16 2010 Subject: [Conntech] feedback on mapping programs (for library floorplans) Message-ID: (Please excuse cross-postings) Hello All, in Library Land! Last week, I put out a call for ideas, for making an easy-to-create/read/edit floorplan of the library (to help our shelvers). These are the suggestions I received: - Use Microsoft Visio. I'm not familiar with this program at all, but it got 2 votes. Probably worth looking into. - Use the Paint program (which is available on all computers). - Scan or copy the existing floorplans of the library (which we do still have in blueprint form, although they are large); add the "key" information using Publisher (if scanned) or labels (if copied). - Find a volunteer with professional graphic design skills to create a floorplan in Adobe. :-) All good suggestions! I know that it's also possible to draw basic boxes using Microsoft Word; a bit tedious, but probably no more than the other suggestions mentioned above. No one leapt right up and said "Here's the perfect mapping product!" (Visio is more for flowcharts, but it does use basic shapes). So there's a nice niche for someone to fill... We have attempted every cost-saving, time saving method regarding floor plans and have found two specific challenges scanned blueprints are too detailed to be readily helpful, and recreating the floor plans in illustrator or photoshop is tedious and time consuming. However, the only truly effective way to have a universally helpful file is to create a rendering in illustrator, saved as an .EPS file. This resulting file can then be resized without loss of details. In addition, there are no limits to the amount of text/key you can use in Illustrator. In a pinch however, we have used the custom shape tools...believe it or not...in an advanced version of Powerpoint. Not something we recommend for a long-term, resizable graphic, but potentially a solution when time/budgets are really squeezed. All the best to our Librarian friends! We are using a Blackboard MW9842 wedge that reads and validates the card, then WedgeLink software to translate the serial RS232 input to a number and carriage return, and iii Millennium Release 2009a. The wedge appears to be passing its data to the middleware correctly, but then it isn't going to Millennium, or any other software that would take a string of characters. My suspicion is that the middleware, the WedgeLink, is not set up correctly or its current revision is not able to do this task. Their helpdesk has not been able to resolve the issue, and we need to move on and find middleware that will work. If anyone else is having good luck with software to go from serial RS232 input to readable character strings, I would really appreciate knowing what you're using and a configuration that works. The LSSC Program is the first national, voluntary certification program for library support staff. This new certification program will help library support staff achieve recognition for current and new skills and abilities, and increase access to continuing education opportunities. ALA and ALA-APA President Camila Alire affirms, "This certification program was much needed for support staff in multi-type libraries across the country. Along with support staff, I am excited that it has finally come to fruition. I encourage library administrators and support staff to take advantage of this program." ALA-APA will award the LSSC to candidates who demonstrate achievement in six sets of competencies by completing approved courses or submitting portfolios that demonstrate their achievement. Candidates have four years from acceptance to complete the program. The LSSC Program is open to any library support staff person with a high-school diploma or its equivalent and the equivalent of at least one year of full-time experience in a library with the last five years. Applicants do not have to be a member of ALA. The application fee is $325 for ALA members and $350 for non-ALA members. A certification program was sought for many years by library support staff. In 2003, the ALA Congress on Professional Education III asked ALA to study LSS certification, ALA responded by including planning for a certification program in ALA's strategic plan, ALA2010. Funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, ALA developed the LSSC over the past three years. More information about the LSSCP is available online at http://www.ala-apa.org/lssc. Based on the success of the Program this requirement became mandatory on July 1, 2009. * To be eligible for the Foreclosure Mediation Program the property being foreclosed must be a 1-4 family residential property that is owner occupied and used as the owner's primary residence in the State of Connecticut. * Since its initiation over 10,000 cases have participated in or are in the process of mediation. Of the foreclosure mediation cases that were completed from July 2008 - October 2009, a high 61% ended with the homeowners remaining in their homes and 75% of the cases were settled. * More information on the Foreclosure Mediation Program may be found on the Law Library Subject Page at http://www.jud.ct.gov/lawlib/Law/foreclosure_mediation.htm. * Each Law Library located throughout the State is equipped with materials to help individuals with foreclosure actions and with the forms required by the Mediation Program. http://www.jud.ct.gov/lawlib/staff.htm * An important component of the law is that judges may use their equitable power to refer homeowners to the Mediation Program even though the deadline for inclusion in the Program has passed. ___________________________ Pamela M. To register access the Continuing Education Calendar of Events @ http://evanced.info/cslib/evanced/eventcalendar.asp Introduction to Camtasia Studio 6 - Mar. 10th (MLSC) Are you interested in learning how to create screencasts? Never heard of screencasts? Then this full-day workshop is for you. We will learn how to create online screencasts using Camtasia Studio 6, a powerful, easy-to-use video screen recording program. Workshop participants will learn how to record, produce, edit and publish practical screencasts and take away the knowledge to do many more. You will be provided with step-by-step procedures to get the most from your screencasts, and a list of resources for further learning. You will have time during the day to work on a real project so come prepared with some ideas. **Please bring a flash/usb/thumb drive with you for the workshop. This will allow you to save your class work.** RSS in Libraries - Mar. 11th (MLSC) RSS feeds are everywhere these days - on news web sites, blogs, social networking sites, databases and if you're lucky, in your library catalog. But what does this really mean and how do we take advantage of this magic technology? In this class we'll explore how RSS can help you gather information more efficiently. And how RSS can help your library distribute information. Topics covered in this fast-paced class will include: RSS basics Using feed reader software (Google Reader) Tools that can distribute information via RSS (Delicious, twitter, etc) Creating RSS feeds & tools to add to your web page Anatomy of a Web Page: Introduction to HTML - Mar. 12th (MLSC) Html, or Hypertext Markup language is the basis for all web sites. In this course we will take a look at the anatomy of a web page, the coding behind the scenes. You will learn basic HTML coding and build a web page from scratch. You will be able to use what you learn in this class to tweak pages created you've created with such software as Dreamweaver and Frontpage. This is an introductory course and you do not need to know any HTML to take this class. Online Outreach & Marketing - Mar. 12th (Wilson Branch, NHFPL) In the Web 2.0 environment, libraries need to learn to reach beyond traditional ideas of outreach and take advantage of new tools for connecting with their users online. During this full day workshop we'll discuss a variety of ideas for libraries to get information out into spaces beyond their library web sites and to connect with their users on their own online turf. We'll look at community events calendars, monitoring local blogs and other forums, social review sites and much more. **This is a hands-on session, so come prepared with information about your library, services and events to get started with your own online outreach plan. ** Digital Cameras: Start to Finish - Mar. 12th (MLSC) We will take you through the steps of taking pictures with your camera, downloading them to a computer, adjusting images in Photoshop Elements, then saving them to a disk. Along the way, we will explain how cameras work, the different file formats, and resolution. Bring your cameras, any user manuals, and any CDs that came with your camera. Library Space Planning Guide Workshop - Mar. 16th (MLSC) This workshop will help you calculate new space requirements. By the close of the workshop, you will have a rough square-footage figure for your library's needs. All workshop participants will go home with an Excel version of the spreadsheet. (You do not need to know Excel.) The workshop will take you step-by-step through the Library Space Planning Guide, a State Library Publication. The Guide is geared to public libraries; however, school and academic libraries can also use some of the information. Dublin Core - Mar. 23rd (MLSC) Dublin Core (so named because it was developed in the town of Dublin, Ohio) is a metadata standard for describing digital objects. It is similar to MARC, but simpler, yet mvideo and electronic resources. Dublin Core is the metadata most often used for digital repositories such as those at the American Geographical Society, Mystic Seaport, and C/W MARS. This half-day workshop is intended for people interested in participating in a digitization project. Please bring a photograph or document to describe. Essential Cataloging for Local History & Genealogy Collections - Mar. 23rd (MLSC) Local history and genealogy collections are special. Even though the cataloging rules are the same as for a library?s regular collection, there are additional considerations. The organization of the material and the classification scheme need to be re-evaluated in light of the unique needs of the customers using this collection as well as additional notes that a cataloger might not usually encounter. In this half day workshop we will examine a variety of published and unpublished items: books, pamphlets, manuscripts, scrapbooks and vertical files as well as photocopies and microfilm. *Recommended for : Copy catalogers and new catalogers who work with local history and genealogy collections. Using Connecticut Library Statistics to Make the Case for Your Public Library - Mar. 25th (MLSC) Public libraries complete an annual report each year that requires them to pull together a lot of statistics. In this half day workshop you will find out how to use those statistics and those from other libraries to evaluate your library, prove your value, and make the case for improved funding. Topics to be covered include: ?A review of statistical resources available from the State Library and from the Institute of Museum and Library Services ?Tips and advice for completing the CT Public Library Annual Report survey ?Maximizing the usefulness of the annual ?Statistical Profile of CT Public Libraries? ?Finding statistics for your library for past years ?Use chart-making tools to evaluate your library, compare your library to others, and make a case for your library ?Provide examples of flyers that use statistics to inform others of the value of your library ?A preview of the 2010 Annual Report survey Some familiarity with Microsoft Excel is recommended but not required. Attendees will have time to work with some of the tools illustrated in the workshop. A number of people wanted me to post the results so below is a compilation of the replies I received. MANY THANKS to those that responded. Constant Contact was by far the most used program (www.constantcontact.com) so I'll group those first. -- Linda Rusczek, Russell Library, Middletown ------- We just went to a subscription service from Constant Contact. We have about 13,500 subscribers who receive our weekly email of library events. I produce it myself, and it is very simple. I don't have a design background. It allows you to choose from a variety of styles and templates, and best of all you can schedule delivery, so if you need to do it ahead of time, it's no problem. It's also easy to add or remove names. The price is based on the number of subscribers. We're paying $1,200/year. We also send out an electronic version of our monthly newsletter, separately from Constant Contact. It's basically the same list. Our Friends organization also has a list and sends out membership solicitations and other correspondence on their own. Linda Avellar, Communications Supervisor,The Ferguson Library, Stamford, CT 06904, 203 351-8208 ------- We use Constant Contact as our e-mail marketing tool. It is wonderful and easy to use and inexpensive. We use it to send out an electronic form of our printed quarterly newsletter and a monthly list of adult and children's programs. We have a paper form that patrons complete indicating which, if any, of the emails they wish to receive. We also have a signup form on our web site to join these email lists. I produce all 3 of the lists and manage the distribution and format (there are many templates to choose from and I change them for each list each month/quarter). I would be happy to discuss this further if you wish. -- Peggy Ganong, Library Technology Coordinator, New Milford Public Library , New Milford, CT 06776 tel. (860) 355-1191 ext. 211 ------ We use constant contact and their basic set-up is free (always a nice feature!) We like it and many organizations near us have copied us. We send out a weekly e-newsletter. We found that at least with our patrons, they didn't like hearing from us more than once a week. In this weekly e-mail, we mention any upcoming events and during slow event weeks, we might highlight something else about the library (a database, a service we offer, etc). Ann Marie awhite@owlibrary.org --- We use Constant Contact and like it very much. Our Adult Services Librarian and the Children's Librarian do the posts, and they do take some time, effort. We got our list by advertizing that we were using Constant Contact with our patrons. They sign themselves up. We now have a list of about 300. Margaret Borchers, Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, Monroe mborchers@ewml.org ------ We have multiple outlets for email announcements: Virtual Town Hall is the company that hosts our town of Avon website, and part of their software includes email lists that people can subscribe too. We advertise this on the town site and on our site, and have over 850 subscribers. Those announcements are usually 2-3 times a week, and contain program info and holiday hours, etc. It's easy and fast to use this, and we can have people sign up on their own, or submit a Word or Excel file of names to Virtual Town Hall and they'll add them for us. I submit the library posts, and our Director does the town news alerts, which is a separate list. We also have Facebook and Twitter, and each department has a day of the week where they are responsible for. I looked into Constant Contact, and like the product a lot for newsletters and email subscribers....but since we already have Virtual Town Hall it seemed redundant to offer it. Hal Bright at Farmington has a very successful email newsletter subscriber list and product--definitely call him! ~Tina Panik Avon Library ----- We use a few blogspot.com blogs which are free, and patrons can sign up to receive emails when we post information to it. We have decided to hold off on any type of legislative breakfast gatherings until September. We recommend that you contact your individual legislators to invite them to "Snapshot: One Day in the Life of Connecticut's Libraries" on February 18, 2010 or to invite them to an event in your library so they can experience all the great things happening in Connecticut libraries. Bobby Shea, CLA Lobbyist, also wants to remind the library community to send a thank you e-mail to Governor Rell for not proposing any changes to the FY 2010-2011 budget for library programs that directly affect libraries. We would also like you help on February 16th. Message from Bobby Shea : Dear Fighting CLA Friends: Here's a new idea: Let's all get together next Tuesday, February 16th . . . . . Here's why: Below is the Official Notice regarding State Agency Budget presentations before the Appropriations Committee. On Tuesday, February 16th at 10am in LOB Room 2C, the State Library Representatives are scheduled to make their budget presentation. Members of the legislative committee and I will be attending this presentation to route on Kendall Wiggin and his colleagues; and it may be nice if some other CLA members can attend this presentation as well (this is not a "public" hearing; but our presence in the room to show our support for the State Library will be very helpful). Also, later in the day at 6pm, there is a public hearing scheduled which will give us the Opportunity to loudly and publicly show our support for State Library Programs. Randi Ashton-Pritting, CLA President, will be testifying on our behalf. If possible, it would be Awesome if we could have several CLA members and/or friends join us on Tuesday evening the 16th (as many of you know, it could be a very long evening so please bring a novel with you to read while you are waiting for Randi's turn to testify). The order of those testifying is determined by lottery. We will let you know which number Randi has once we find out on Tuesday morning. I really believe that it will very important for us to show our support on February 16th. Of course, there will be other meetings and other hearings throughout the Spring for us to fight at the State Capitol for our programs, but let's start strong on the 16th. Go CLA !! Peace, Bobby Shea APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE SCHEDULE OF STATE AGENCY PRESENTATIONS AND PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE GOVERNOR'S PROPOSED BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS The Appropriations Committee will hold state agency budget presentations and public hearings from Monday, February 8, 2010 through Thursday, February 18, 2010, in Room 2C of the LOB. Public speaker order for the public hearings will be determined by a lottery system. Lottery numbers will be drawn from 9: 00 A. M. until 10: 00 A. M. in the LOB Atrium and from 10: 15 A. M. until 1: 00 P. M. in Room 2700. The list of speakers registered through the lottery system will be posted outside Room 2C two hours prior to the start of the public hearing. Speakers arriving after the completion of the lottery will have their names placed at the end of the speaker list. On February 11 and February 18 the Committee will provide a separate sign-up sheet for persons with special needs. Those speakers will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis. The Committee chairs will alternate between the special needs list and the standard list until the special needs list has been exhausted. Speakers will be limited to 3 minutes of testimony. Please submit 35 copies of written testimony at the time of sign-up. Testimony delivered after the start of a hearing may not be distributed until the following day. Unofficial sign-up sheets have no standing with the Committee. Elementary and Secondary Education 10: 00 A. M. - 10: 30 AM State Library 10: 30 A. M. - 12: 00 P. M. Kathy Goldner, founder of Knitting Out Loud will present this free program. Please call the library at 203-272-2245 to register. ?Stories teach us new things, show us who we are and bind us together,? says Kathy Goldner. This hour-long presentation, illustrated with photographs, knitted items and antiques from Kathy?s collection, explores the world of knitting past and present, through stories. Lessons from our grandmothers, the courage of women and the importance to our culture of domesticity, are themes of this presentation. Kathy tells her knitting story which begins with her grandmother. This extraordinary woman shed her Victorian upbringing in pre-WWI Germany to become a physician and psychoanalyst, ultimately fleeing Hitler?s Germany to immigrate to the United States. Kathy tells this and other stories. You hear Debbie Stoller tell the story of her Dutch grandmother who began knitting socks at age six for her family of fifteen. Knitting stories are read from books including Knitting Lessons, KnitKnit and Knitting for Peace. This talk also explores the fascinating history of knitting and looks ahead to the future of this craft and the unusual and inspiring things people are knitting today. For ten years Kathy ran a literature program which brought great stories of Western literature, including The Odyssey and Hamlet, to elementary school children in Maine. When she began knitting after a fifteen year hiatus, she discovered armloads of knitting books with wonderful knitting stories and wanted to listen to them while she knit. It was this love of stories that prompted Kathy to start her audiobook company Knitting Out Loud. This program has been funded by the Friends of the Cheshire Public Library. -- _____________________ Maria Poirier Brandriff Assistant Director Cheshire Public Library 104 Main Street Cheshire, CT 06410 Email: mpb@cheshirelibrary.org From KAbery at cslib.org Wed Feb 17 05:57:06 2010 From: KAbery at cslib.org (Kris Abery) Date: Wed Feb 17 05:55:38 2010 Subject: [Conntech] State Library Workshop Update for 03/01/10 References: <4B7AA9360200004B0002289D@ns2.cslib.org> <4B7BA4490200004B000228C4@ns2.cslib.org> <4B7BAF620200004B000228C7@ns2.cslib.org> Message-ID: <4B7BAF60.F821.004B.0@cslib.org> The following workshops have been scheduled for March 2010. Please respond directly to them. We are seeking volunteers to take part in a usability study examining the accessibility of the American Library Association (ALA) website for individuals using assistive devices. The ideal participant would be a member of ALA who requires an assistive device to access the Internet. However, any individual who uses an assistive device is eligible to participate. Participants will be able to take the test at their own locations, and on their own devices. The study will run during March, April and May of 2010. The results of the study will contribute to a report that will lead to improvements in accessibility of ALA's website. If you are interested in participating in this usability study, or can assist us in recruiting suitable participants, please email us at accessibilitytesting@ala.org. Feel free to forward this message to any individual or group whose members might be interested in participation. We'd also love for you to type in some of your patron comments on the appropriate page: http://snapshotctlib.wordpress.com/comments-from-patrons/. If you are unable to do so, email your favorite comments to Deborah Zulick, dzulick@ctlibrarians.org or Carol Reichardt, reichardtc@easternct.edu and they will post them for you. And finally, the latest addition to the webpage is the tab labeled "Success." Please send along your stories of what you did on Snapshot Day that worked. Did you have volunteers helping out? A special program? Great PR? We'd love to hear your success stories - just click on the "Success" tab and send a quick summary. Snapshot results will be posted by March 10! ___________________________ Betty Anne Reiter breiter@town.groton.ct.us Linda Avellar linda@fergusonlibrary.org Co-chairs, CLA Publicity Committee Snapshot Day is co-sponsored by CLA, CLC and the Connecticut State Library. It is similar to MARC, but simpler, yet more conducive to describing audio, video and electronic resources. Even though the cataloging rules are the same as for a librarys regular collection, there are additional considerations. When you click on the social media links after my name you'll be able to see my credentialing and extensive experience as a career counselor and work performance coach. I need the expertise of a good librarian who would like to trade knowledge and competence in your areas for similar expertise and support provided from my areas - career development and job search The Social Media/Job Research Group. Within our large group of about 150 members, there are a number of small subgroups. I am heading up a small group of four people who are seeking to perform applied research to the following two areas: * Traditional business and related research.. Reference USA .. assorted Gale databases.. Hoovers .. etc. (these we can nicely download on our laptops and use our library cards to access - but we are not able to develop proficiencies in their use in applications -- especially as we start to focus on local and regional job searching) * Social media web site searching to include such sites as . Delicious .. GIST .. Netvibes .. Google Alerts .. Google Reader .. Backtype .. Social Mention .. Technorati .. BlogSearch Bizsugar .. etc. (there is tremendous job-related information here. We have been able to just scratch the surface with these web sites, but they involve knowledge of keyword researching, tags and indexing that, for the moment, is beyond us.) Ideally, we would like to offer a seat in our group to a skilled research librarian. It would be fine with us (probably preferable) if this individual were at this moment unemployed and/or actively seeking a new position. We would be happy to our share skills, experience and competencies regarding developing, instituting, and following through on a professionally coached job search campaign. Logistics: * We will meet on the Internet and use a "go to meeting" software program called Mikogo. (there is no need to travel or meet in person) * This group is newly formed so all members would be learning about and from each other at the same time. * We would be meeting to support one another in our own active job searching * This group would probably have a lifespan of about 8-10 weeks. * We would probably be in contact with each other two or three times a week (one hour at a time) * As the group gets into the job search, we may meet less often, but at least once a week. The Board will be having a recognition event in June. If any other library has been so fortunate to receive such an endowment, what kind of recognition events did you do to honor the donor and the donor's family? Thanks in advance for any help, Barbara Barbara A. Butler, M.L.S., M.S.
