*Teaching Assistant—Library Media Center*
* *West Hartford Public Schools
West Hartford Public Schools has a full-time (6.5 hours daily – 182 days per
year) Teaching Assistant position available for the 2011-2012 school year.
This position is available in one of our high schools to assist in the daily
operation of the Library Media Center. Duties include but are not limited
to: processing and circulating library resources, assisting students and
staff in using library resources, equipment and facilities; and providing
clerical support. Ability to attend to task details. Excellent interpersonal
and organizational skills. Must possess excellent work ethic and
self-direction skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Library or related
experience is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent keyboard and data entry skills.
*Salary:* Substitute teacher rate ($75/day), without benefits.
