West Hartford Public Schools seeks a qualified Library Media
Specialist.  Experience
working with elementary school students; strong background in an automated
library environment including proficiency with digital resources; knowledge
in the area of children’s literature.  *Duties and responsibilities* include
but not limited to:  instructing students in information and technology
literacy, providing leadership in the integration of technology with
instruction, collaborating with classroom teachers in planning, implementing
and assessing instruction, evaluating and selecting resources for the
library media center.  Should hold or be eligible for CT Library Media
Specialist Certificate.  Competitive salary and benefits.
