Subject: [CASL-L] Kindle Fire
Good morning, CASL friends.
Our district is considering the purchase of Kindle Fires as a way to look
address some of the Common Core Standards at the middle school level. We had
investigated the potential purchase of eReaders two years ago and decided at
that time that we were not ready. A lot has changed in the market since
then and I'm looking to those of you have forged ahead for your experiences.
Where are you getting your ebooks from? What other apps are you using? What
pitfalls have you experienced?
If you are willling to share your kindle (or other eReader) experiences, please
let me know. It might be easier to actually speak by phone if that works for
you. As always, going straight to the experts!
