Depends.  If they are being stored in a cart, we use: http://www.kensington.com/kensington/us/us/s/1601/blackbelt™-protection-bands-for-ipad-2.aspx
If they are being carried around in backpacks, then go to the Kensington site and look at the options.
Most of the damage comes from drops.  You need to protect the corners, as they assume the most shock from drops.
