Publicize the importance of librarians and acknowledge your favorite librarian 
by encouraging participation in this annual award.

Nominate a librarian. 

Up to 10 winners will be selected to receive a $5000 cash award and plaque, and 
will be honored at a ceremony and reception at The New York Times in December.
