eSN Twitter Chat: "One-to-One Computing: Strategies for Success"
February 21, 2012 from 4 to 5 p.m. EST
Join eSchool News Editor-in-Chief Dennis Pierce as he leads a Twitter-based
discussion with Sam Morris, Education Solutions Manager for Lenovo and a former
educator and Instructional Technology Director at Cary Academy in North
Carolina.
Pierce and Morris will take readers’ questions via Twitter and will offer their
best advice for making one-to-one computing programs a success in schools.
In his work at Cary Academy, Morris helped lead a program that put a Tablet PC
in every student’s hands, transforming instruction and enabling more authentic
learning experiences for students. Morris will share the lessons he learned at
Cary and what he believes are the keys to success for one-to-one initiatives.
The chat will take place February 21, 2012 from 4 to 5 p.m. EST. To
participate, use the hashtag #esnedchat. If you don't follow eSchool News on
