Registration is now open for the 4th Annual CLA Library Leadership Institute!

This year's program features a fabulous lineup of speakers, including:

*         Keynote speaker, Dr. Susan Gibbons, Yale University Librarian, on her work with the University of Rochester and beyond

*         Special Skype session with R. David Lankes, Syracuse University, on community outreach
Breakout sessions:
*         From Idea to Reality: Managing Projects - Mary Lou Aleskie, Executive Director of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas, New Haven
*         Tell Me a Story: Writing Successful Grant Applications -  Cynthia Clegg, President and CEO of the Middlesex County Community Foundation and Lauren Miller, Grants Officer, CT Humanities Council
*         Fundraising 101 - Patricia Foley, CPA, President-Elect of the New England Lace Group and Past President of the Friends of the Lucy Robbins Welles Library
*         Investing in Your Future: The Case for Professional Development - Debbie Herman, CCSU & Randi Ashton-Pritting, University of Hartford
Early bird registration for this event is only $40.00 until June 30th. The institute welcomes all library leaders as well as those who aspire to lead, but you must be a current CLA member<http://www.ctlibraryassociation.org/join.php> in order to participate. Registration after June 30th will be $45.00.
The day also includes morning coffee, the famed "University of Hartford lunch" and a wine and cheese networking reception, complete with raffle prizes including a Kindle Fire (generously provided by W.T. Cox) and gift baskets-- but you must be present to win!
