[CASL-L] Looking for suggestions

Hi All -

The 8th grade language arts department is looking for a non-fiction,
contemporary novel with the theme of redemption, or people changing. This
is to be a companion novel to The Christmas Carol.

I would appreciate any suggestions you could send my way.
