[CASL-L] Reserving quipment using Destiny Library Manager

We are now checking out equipment such as iPads and ChromeBooks to staff and students through our Destiny library manager.
I am wondering if anyone has figured out a way to put equipment on reserve for future use? Holds don't work if the item isn't checked out. And we do not have the Destiny Asset Manager.
Any ideas?
