Does this book description ring a bell to anyone? Trying to help a New
Jersey friend whose son is obsessed with Tarzan:
"my dad took Sam to a library that we don't belong to last week and read
a book to him that Sam now "has to have." Problem is, that library is
about a half hour from our house and I haven't had time to go back...
The book, in Sam's words, is about "A little boy who loved Tarzan. The
boy imagines he is in the jungle like Tarzan and then Tarzan swings down
and saves him from a crocodile. But the boy then saves the crocdile from
hunters by yelling like Tarzan does and all the animals come to save the
crocodile"
My dad thought the name of the book was something like Boy in the
Jungle...but my local library could not find a book based on that
description, nor could Barnes and Noble. And I couldn't find it on Amazon.
It is not a Disney book or anything. Just about a boy who loves Tarzan (and
Sam is in a Tarzan obsession right now.) It is a picture book for preschool
/ kindergarten ages."
