Our district hired a PowerSchool specialist after trying to use PowerSchool for a year or two without one. I don't know his job description but he's excellent at making PowerSchool work with other software including Follett - Destiny. Some of the things we used to do manually in Destiny are now done very quickly by inputting data from PowerSchool. Examples: import student pictures, update date fields (as many or little as you want or need), tell Destiny to set a format for username and password.
I also have access in PowerSchool to teacher and student schedules which saves me a ton of time when I need that information for planning purposes or tracking down a student for individual support, making up assessments, etc.

Our school district is upgrading from old "ipass" system to newer system. How have libraries found the impact of either of these systems on their Library needs and Library Automation Systems?

    Thanks.
